Marilaw Ab is a recently established company that specializes in various aspects of maritime and oceans law, with a particular focus on international and EU legislation in this field. The main task of Marilaw Ab is to provide legal and policy advice for clients and to undertake research, mainly in the fields of in maritime law, EU law, international environmental law and the law of the sea.

The owner and manager of the company is Dr Henrik Ringbom, who is also part-time Professor at the Scandinavian Institute of Maritime Law at the University of Oslo, Norway, and Adjunct Professor (Docent) at the Department of Law at Åbo Akademi University in Turku, Finland.

The company was established in September 2012 and is located in Mariehamn, Åland Islands, Finland.
